This 6-week comprehensive program is for the person looking to make
healthy, lasting lifestyle changes. This program provides the education,
the tools and the coaching to bring balance back into your life through
exercise, healthy eating, & stress management. It features STEP
by STEP changes in a positive, upbeat, supportive setting!
Program includes:
A complete fitness
assessment including body composition, cardio-respiratory
endurance assessment, strength assessment, and flexibility
assessment
Bi-weekly exercise classes that consist of aerobic exercise, strength
training, flexibility training, and stress management training
• 40-minutes of aerobic exercise usually
done on the treadmills but can
also include walks on the beach and
water aerobics
• 50-minutes of strength and flexibility
training using a combination of
weight machines, free weights, body
weight exercises, balls, tubing, etc.
Includes your own copy of State of the Heart Fitness' Way to Wellness
Journal to chart your progress and a T-shirt
10 minute "mini" lectures on various health & fitness

Healthy Hearts is a comprehensive exercise and nutrition program
designed by State of the Heart Fitness and Healthy
by Design medical nutrition therapists with the intention
to provide education, accountability, and hands-on experience to
help you establish healthy, lasting lifestyle changes not just today,
but everyday for the rest of your life.
If you have hypertension, high cholesterol, diabetes, or need to
lose weight the "healthy" way, we offer 3 different program packages
to meet your individual needs.

90 minute fitness assessment & consultation
Exercise prescription & program design
Personal Training sessions individualized for your health needs

For the person that desires the motivation, accountability and guidance
of personal training without the expense. This program will help you
gain the confidence and independence of taking responsibility for
your own exercise routine. A structured, easy-to-follow routine will
be provided with exercise diagrams.
Group training consists of aerobic exercise, strength training,
and flexibility training
30-minutes of aerobic exercise
20-minutes of strength using a combination of weight machines, free
weights,
body weight exercises, balls, tubing, etc.
10-minutes of everyday exercises and stretches
For the moderately "fit" individual who needs an added "boost" to
their exercise program while having fun and getting fit on the beach,
this is an excellent program offered on a seasonal basis. The program
is held on the beachside of the Loews Hotel. Training includes cardio,
strength and flexibility.
No matter where you live (even out of state), you can get coached
by State of the Heart Fitness without even setting foot in our doors!
